Cattus Island County Park

I needed fresh air yesterday and time for peace, quiet and reflection. I found it here. There was a lot to see at Cattus Island Park, another nature center, not too far from home!!


It was like someone knew I was coming...


and provided all this beautiful purple goodness!!!


The light was perfect...


and these were gorgeous!!


I feel at home amongst nature...


with camera in hand, I am busy as a bee!!


This beautiful Monarch kept me company...


and when this beauty eluded me,


Chuck took over and got me my shot!!


This is just what I needed yesterday!!

    Hi Debbie...oh I am jealous of your Monarch...the full wing shot is magnificant!!
    I tryed to catch up with some lately and there ears must have been open!!

    Lovely photo's just lovely ..but question ...how did that white flower get in there "purple lady"??? ; }
