I had to watch the first USA game recorded as it was not available for me to watch live where I was.
It was an exciting game, even though I knew that they had won 3 - 0 against Paraguay.
Last Friday as I typed this entry I was watching their second game.
They won 2 - 0 against Australia and are guaranteed a spot in the second round
They play again on July 1st.
Both of my boys played soccer, youngest son Mike played at a pretty high level,

and really enjoys watching the games to this day.
We celebrated with a trip to Rita's, our first of the season.
Juicy Pear is my favorite but they did not have it and the hubs and I both got Watermelon,
which is also very good.
I just get a kids cup of Ice, the hubs gets a Gelati.
A mix of creamy, rich frozen custard, and refreshing, fruit-flavored ice.
Delicious!

I have not watched the games but the joy these games and spectators have brought to the U.S. is so amazing and heart warming.

We don't have any Rita's around here, but other places we've lived did. Loved going there.
I've not been watching the World Cup but have just kept up to date with how England (and Scotland) are doing on our UK news programmes.

Exciting games and the turn-out is incredible! My eldest son played soccer, but he was not that good (shhh - don't tell him I said that! Lol!) The treats look so yummy. We don't have them here. :( xo K

I'm not watching the games. I don't think I've ever even seen a soccer game before. When my kids were growing up they didn't have that around here.
I am not a sport fan of any kind. So I have not been watching.

I would love to stop by Rita's! We have watched the highlights of a couple of matches, but no actual games.
I have been craving ice-cream for a couple of days now :) I've enjoyed the fans as much as I have enjoyed the games.
I have not watch any of the games but have been following the news broadcast about them, as far as I understand they have to win the one tomorrow in order to stay in? It sure would be great!
