Point Pleasant Boardwalk

has a beautiful fireworks display, every Thursday night, all summer long.
We go several times each summer, these pictures are from a few weeks ago.

We have our own special spot where we sit and watch them.
As we get deeper into the summer, the boardwalk gets a lot more crowded...
our special spot will be discovered and will probably be taken over!

The fireworks were so pretty...
I heard someone say if you have seen one firework, you have seen them all.
I say that is not true.

After the fireworks, we walked over by the rides.
School was still in session on the Thursday night we went,
therefore, the kids had gone home early and the rides were pretty empty after the fireworks.
Still I enjoyed looking at the lights, colors, hearing the music, and the rides all lit up.
There were pint sized rides for the kiddos, family rides and thrill rides.

It was a lovely evening, cool and breezy...the perfect time to visit the Boardwalk.

The Jenkinson’s fireworks displays were great, Debbie, and all our years of growing up and living in NJ, we never saw them😕. There is something quite eerily beautiful about seeing an amusement park without crowds milling about or on the rides.

I love these nighttime photos Debbie, so sharp and clear. The firework ones were fantastic. I hope you will be able to keep your special spot. Lay claim and plant a flag, lol!

Wow, fireworks every week! That's a lot of fireworks. I guess the animals in the area get used to it. :). Great firework photos.

What a beautiful display of fireworks. I remember visiting the boardwalk a few years ago with the boys.

OMG!! I was just there yesterday. We have cousins that have a town house on the Inlet and the ocean at the very end of the boardwalk.

The fireworks are my favorite. All those swirly twirly things make me sick to my stomach. I'd rather look up than around.

Been awhile since I've seen fireworks. They are pretty though.

Wow the boardwalk looked empty, weird to see the rides lit up with no people. Nice you have a place that isn't too busy to enjoy them. I agree, every year they are trying to improve the fireworks, we didn't end up going tonight, it rained earlier and just decided not to go, of course a bunch of people are doing them in the neighborhood so that is all we are hearing right now.
