Enjoying The Beach

Howe Street Beach in Bayhead, New Jersey, our favorite beach to go for a stroll.
We are not summer beach people...we are pool people.
Don't get me wrong, we love the beach, but we much prefer it in the off season, in cooler weather.

The water today was a pretty blue green, different than usual.
It looked so very clear and clean with a hint of green.

It was a beautiful day, but there were only a few people laying on the beach.

Early in June, the snow fence is still up.

Poeple make and add to this pretty shell garland,

it hangs on the permanent fence along the path that leads to the beach.

A Bayhead resident decorates the beach for every holiday.
I met him once, but he did not want to have his picture taken.

Happy Tuesday, we are suppose to get some much needed rain today!

Hey Debbie. I can relate to off-season and less folks. Pretty shells. Yes, here rain. Been on an off rain since I sanded the deck. Just waiting on three days of no rain but it looks like that's gonna be a hot minute. No matter. Plenty of other things to get into trouble with. Wishing you a Happy Tuesday.

The water has been so pretty this summer. Looks tropical. I could sit on the beach all day every day!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad you can get back to the beach. It's loveliest when it's quiet!

We're not sun-bathers or even swimmers, but I love the beach... love the feel of the san between my toes, love the smell of the ocean, and the clean air... and prefer a deserted beach or cove.

I live in the woods so not a beach person but would love to walk along the shore line and all your photos are just beautiful.

I have always loved the beach but not when it's super hot or crowded. Love those shell decorations. Very clever.

Always neat to see what they come up with using the shells. I do love the hat, the flag is pretty cool too! It can get a little too hot for me at the beach this time of year
