Troll Trek II

Do you remember the Troll Trek we went on back in March?
If you missed that post, or are curious about what it is, you can view that post here.
In that post,
I shared pictures of the 9 trolls we found.
There are 18 in total, Sunday we searched for the others.

The Troll Trek is like a scavenger hunt but so much better.
The website is here and contains all of the addresses and information you need to see all 18 trolls.
We really had a great time starting and finishing this adventure.
Wrong turns, deserted roads, they were not all easy to find but we did it.
They each have a name, they are all handmade by a different creator using all recycled materials.
This past Sunday we set out to find the rest, it wasn't easy...but it sure was fun.
One thing to remember is that navigation only works, some of the time.

Riley the Abilities Troll

Kevin

Noelle the Troll

Hagatha

Tommy the Tetanus Troll

Flora

Sally McScraps

We passed this on the way home, it was not part of the Trek but could have been!

  4. That was such an interesting thing for your community to do -- I enjoyed both posts about it so much. I enjoy whimsey and these creations definitely fit into that category! I do have a mental picture of people getting lost on the hunt since you say gps doesn't always work -- people would wonder if the trolls ate their missing friends. (I can get lost in a closet, s it could easily happen to me. But then Bill would definitely be driving anyway.)

  6. In 2001, I was in Seattle and they had pigs. I think we found about 98 out of 100. It was great fun. That green troll is scary. Thanks for sharing.

  8. How fun to have something to go hunting for, My favorites are the first one and Tommy, like you said that last set could be one too, I like that they used recycle materials to make them.
