I have been a busy little knitter this week.
I am knitting my 2nd Honey Cowl and since I am familiar with the pattern,
I am breezing right through this one.
I decided to make this one bigger, so I cast on 220 stitches, the last one was 110.
I think this one is going to be too big, I probably needed to cast on something in the middle.

We went to see the Cherry Blossoms
and since we missed them, you can read all about that here,
I have been looking through this book I bought several years ago.

This year, I purchased this Cherry Blossom scarf...
the perfect accent for viewing the pretty blooms!
Um livro que deve ser muito interessante e que deve ter belas fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUma abraço e óptima Quarta-Feira.
translated: A book that should be very interesting and should have beautiful photographs .
DeleteA hug and optimal Wednesday .
It's pretty. Hope it will work, the larger size I mean. Have a great week. Hugs.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful beautiful beautiful!!!! And I love MadTosh nearly as much as my own child (don't tell!). Xoxo Andrea @ This Knitted Life
ReplyDeleteI love the stitch pattern on the Honey Cowl. And the cherry blossom scarf is wonderful! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks so good!!!! The pattern does have an "in between" size. Maybe cowl #3??? Beautiful scarf too! Happy knitting.
ReplyDeleteMy students that have knit the Honey Cowl have said the same - the small was a bit snug and the large was too big. Somewhere in the middle is very good!
ReplyDeleteWhat a prettly little post, my friend. THe Honey Cowl is so pretty and the cherry scarf is delightful! Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteLove the color you chose to knit with, Debbie. Just perfect! :)

Love the stitch pattern on the Honey Cowl. Your cherry blossom scarf is very pretty and sweet colour.
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderfully textured stitch pattern and the yarn brings it out so clear and crisp - lovely!!
ReplyDeleteI love purple so I love your project :) gorgeous pattern and yarn together!
ReplyDeleteI have had that pattern in my ravelry favorites for oh so long but never had just the right yarn picked out for it! I don't know f there's such a thing as a too-big cowl; the bigger the cozier I think! Beautiful project!
ReplyDeleteYour cowl will be just nice and cozy being bigger, for those cold snowy days!! I love it when you learn a pattern and are able to knock it out after that :) Your scarf is a beautiful accessory for viewing the blossoms, such a bummer you missed them in their peek of blooming.
ReplyDeleteI like those purple and lavender shades in the new cowl. And I adore the pink scarf!! That will look so pretty on you.
ReplyDeleteso you need to find someone with a big head or neck to wear this. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the colour of the cowl ... purple/lavender nice gentle shades.
ReplyDeleteHappy Knitting
All the best Jan
Usually when Spring arrives I put away the yarns and needles and hooks. Then, the snow and temperatures fall again, confusing the birds and the daffodils.
ReplyDeleteSo, here I sit snuggled in front of the wood stove under my not-quite-finished
afghan with a good book and a few blogs. Looking forward to seeing the finished cowl. Aloha.
I really love your knitting. I like that color. I never like missing your yarn along.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing your work. That is a very pretty scarf too.
I do love this stitch - such rich texture! And that pretty pink scarf - wow! Such a treat!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, your cowl is just beautiful, and I LOVE your cherry blossoms scarf!
