I love that you plant Butterfly friendly plants.
I's sad your garden didn't fair well. However, you did get a few tomatoes which is more than I got since I didn't do a patio garden this year. We did plant some lovely flowers, so I will take a photo and put it on my blog soon.
Blessings and hugs!
LeAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18107717294803352571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6949868613243486755.post-73045310927343193652019-08-28T17:34:02.742-04:002019-08-28T17:34:02.742-04:00My garden doesn't compare to your beautiful fl...My garden doesn't compare to your beautiful flowers, but I am still getting lots of tomatoes too! How interesting that the butterflies prefer one butterfly bush over the other. In my garden, I have poppies, coneflower, coreopsis, black-eyed susans and by far my favorite of them all - Russian sage.Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08490533253436208034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6949868613243486755.post-83321665096845919332019-08-27T18:48:11.374-04:002019-08-27T18:48:11.374-04:00Gorgeously gorgeous!!!

Perhaps its a good thing the groundhog only fed on the cucumbers (oooh sorry if its a sore point lol), rather than attacking those pretties as well.
Lovely to see your butterfly releasing plant in its setting and your pouted-upon plant certainly pulled its socks up and behaved.
All in all, a delightful walk around the garden with you ... and, oh, not to forget the beautifully painted letterbox which so sweetly looks down at its pretty flowers (well done to your hubs). The only one I have is in terrible shape. I am getting green peppers from my garden but not as well as I have had in past years so that is a bummer, I like to freeze enough to have them all winter long. Your mailbox garden is always so pretty, a treat to see whenever you check your mail :) Bet it brings a smile to the mail person too :)Conniecrafterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09266327228870948083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6949868613243486755.post-11336134417841321172019-08-27T10:18:01.834-04:002019-08-27T10:18:01.834-04:00Debbie, Oh yes what pretty flowers.
