The Perfect Day For A Picnic

Just a short update today...
Last Tuesday, the sun was out, the sky was blue, it was 75 degrees outside with a light beautiful breeze.
It was the perfect day for a picnic, we really enjoy dining "alfresco". 
We headed to Mike's Subs and got our favorite sub, a #11.
Next stop...
to enjoy our sandwich and the weather at "our" picnic table there, they bought us a new one.


You must have a red checkered tablecloth for a proper picnic.


Here we are enjoying our sandwich.


There were men fishing on the pier.


It was later in the day...

we saw several sail boats anchored on the reservoir.
This sunset was almost as perfect as the day.

    I love the idea of picking up sandwiches, packing a tablecloth and finding a picnic area on a nice day. You look very happy.

    No picnic is complete without a red checkered tablecloth. That looks like the perfect spot for a picnic too.

    I love a picnic, especially one that is just simple like yours -- get a sandwich, chips, find a table at a nice spot and spread a pretty cloth on it. No muss, fuss or bother and it's just delightful in every way!

    I love a good ole picnic! I do love the red and white checkered cover!! I have one but it isn't red and white. I had a red and white but my mom gifted me a new picnic table cover set for Mother's day. It is nice but I agree there is nothing like the traditional red and white picnic tablecloth. :)
