I wasn't sure what "Bits & Bobs" meant, so I "googled" it...
"Bits & Bobs"
is a common British idiom referring to small, miscellaneous items,
odds and ends or various minor tasks...that's great, perfect for today's post.
If you have followed my blog for any length of time,
you know I print my blog into a hard covered book about every three months.
The company I was using stopped offering the service and in my search to find another, I discovered
This company has been great in all areas, layout, picture size, color
and the quality of the cover and pages.
The only drawback,
I find the website a little difficult to navigate but their customer support is outstanding.
Inside...
You give them the dates you want to include in your book, and they do everything else.
They lay out each page and design the cover.
On average, one book, which includes 3 months, costs about $ 120.00 or less.
but in the above picture you get an idea of the thickness of each book.
Next up...
Also included are 8 blank pages.
Contained in the spine of the book is a paint brush/pen that you fill with water.
With that, you wet the paints that are on the left.
I was excited to share this with you guys, I have not tried it yet but I will keep you posted.
There are 6 different themes and they can be purchased on Amazon.
The books are beautiful! Such wonderful keepsakes!
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks for sharing the book printing place. I've wanted to do this for some posts on my blog as well. They look quality! I enjoy water color as well.
ReplyDeleteYears ago I thought about having my blog printed in book form. I never got around to doing it and it would cost a fortune to do it now.
ReplyDeleteThe watercolor book looks really nice
Today is a bits and bobs day for me as well. Lots of little errands and jobs.
ReplyDeleteI love the books. I need to do this too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing about this. I'm thinking I'd like to put my London 2024 posts into a book like that. This looks like a much better layout than blog2book, which I did once.
ReplyDeleteHello Debbie,
ReplyDeleteYour blog books looks great, they did a great job.
I like your water color book too, the birds are pretty.
Take care, have a great day!
I think your blog books look very good, I know many bloggers
ReplyDeleteLove the colouring you do.
All the best Jan
Bits and bobs is a saying we use a lot on our home.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic idea about printing your blog. Years ago I followed a lady who no longer blogs but she did for YEARS and she would print a yearly one. I was wondered how people did.
ReplyDeleteI would love that nature color book!!!
I enjoy the British-isms and one of my favorites is gob-smacked which a UK friend uses often in emails we exchange. The bound book of your blog posts looks wonderful, Debbie. I am having photo albums done but only of our travels and have amassed a small collection in the past few years.the watercolor butterfly book is perfect for spring coloring.
ReplyDeleteI have told Greg about your printing of your pictures and just showed him your post, he says maybe when he retires but right now he just doesn't have the time :) That watercolor books looks really nice and has all that you need that is great, hope you enjoy it as much as your pencil coloring!
ReplyDeleteDebbie I did of course know you made books and boy did I wish I'd done that over the years when I was afraid I was going to lose my whole blog last Fall. I wonder if the new company you use would allow me to choose certain posts (for example, could I make a book by choosing all the posts about Alaska? Or all the posts about Costa Rica?) Hmmm. .... I also love the coloring books. One of my dils gifted me a set of those "paint pencils" and a blank book -- but those blank pages are so intimidating! I'm going to look at the books.
