It was so yummy.
I love a good homemade soup that feeds us twice.
During this cold snap, the hubs has been forced to play games with me to pass the time indoors.
Racko is my favorite.
I think I like it so much because I usually win.
Do you remember when I wrote about the
The 32 foot Catalina Sailboat beached during a storm on September 20, 2025,
while traveling from New York to Florida.
- it's still on the beach in Sea Girt -
I spotted this "beer keg tree" at a local brewery...it was so cool.
Have you tried these or a similar product?
My Paperwhites are at peak right now and they look and smell glorious.
I am so happy I planted them!
We have been home so much, I may have to start making things up for blog content!
The soup and grilled cheese look delicious. I need lessons in the kitchen.

I am planning to make soup this weekend and grilled cheese would be perfect, so thanks for the idea, Debbie. Racko is a fun game but one not in our collection now 😕. We are avid dominoes players (Mexican Train) and I enjoy American mah jongg. Friends recently showed us Chinese mah jongg and now we hope to find others who also play. The paperwhites are lovely and how nice to have a wonderful scent indoors now😀. Yes, to laundry detergent sheets which I have been using for quite a while and will only use ones made in USA or Canada, so need to check packaging. I also gave up detergent sheets for sool dryer balls. Thanks for the 🎂wishes.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, my posts are always 'all over the place'... so no problem. And I made African Chicken peanut soup this past week also. It makes a lot... so we have it for at least 2 days, sometimes 3. Had garlic cheese biscuits with it!
ReplyDeleteLove your paperwhites!
We're not much on board games... DH watches sports whenever possible and I do play Animal Crossing on my Nintendo Switch when not reading.
That is how I feel too. Not been going anywhere to blog about. I love the Paperwhites!
ReplyDeleteI wish I liked the smell of paper whites. They're so pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour lunch looks fantastic and so do your paperwhites! That tree is a clever one for a brewery.
ReplyDeleteI liked this post very much. I think you have a gift for blogging!

Hello!!! I love posts like this personally! :) I have tried paperwhites a few times and while they are so cheery the ones I get always smell so bad. I do not know why! I cannot tolerate them. I have heard some have better smells. I so wish I could find those!
ReplyDeleteOh the paperwhites! Gorgeous! I am looking forward to spring!
ReplyDeleteLove paper whites I haven't had them in several years. Love grilled cheese. I use dryer balls so I don't use the sheets.

Dear Debbie!
ReplyDeleteYour coffees are gorgeous. I love potato soup. It's simple to make and very tasty. Have a great Friday :)
The soup and grilled cheese looks so good. Your Paperwhites are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI hope our warmer weather will be heading your way, our snow is melting, we can even see grass again in spots :) We had some strong winds today that kept it a bit cooler than what the temps were but still better. I wonder if that boat will just remain there after all this time. I have not tried those sheets, I was wondering if they were ok to use, didn't know if it might clog things up or not. Your flowers are just gorgeous!
