  1. Dear Debbie :)
Lovely colourful post. I have enjoyed seeing all these imaginative and decorative creations, What a delightful competition, that must give the judges a headache whilst deciding the winners for they are all worthy of a prize.
    Have a happy week .:)

  7. While I was looking at all those wonderful gingerbread creations, I thought I started to smell gingerbread. So, I turned around to see if perhaps someone had snuck in bringing me a piece but alas it was just my imagination.

  8. Wow, Debbie, I am always amazed at how people can MAKE things like this! Must take lots of patience. They are so pretty, I like the blue ribbon # 7 best although there were lots of others too. And I know I'm late, but your last two posts I REALLY enjoyed, that place is so amazing, gosh the work put into that! I love the stars set up to look like they're floating as they reflect on the water at night. And of course all those beautifully decorated trees and all the lights. Thats a photographers paradise all the times of year that y'all go, but especially pretty this time of year. Hope your days are going great and y'all are staying warm up there! HUGS

  9. ps...I use a different recipe but the secret to good biscuits is icy COLD BUTTER and to cut it into the flour. I don't have a pastry cutter but I just use a butter knife, it works great, just takes a little longer. And if the surface is ICE COLD too it helps. I have a marble cutting board, I clean it and refrigerate it and then make my biscuits on it, that and the icy cold butter makes mine turn out good and fluffy inside and browned nicely on the outside. Just didn't want you to GIVE UP on biscuits, and hopefully you'll maybe try again. I've had lots of flops too, ha ha LOL.

  15. WOW! Incredible works of art. I've never seen anything like this before, but it reminds me of the permanent exhibition of nativity scenes at the National Museum in Warsaw.
Best regards, and this time I invite you to view the photo gallery from the last exhibition :)
