All of my pictures...all of my memories of late, still keep taking me back to the season that is
Christmas.
The day was wonderful,
but I have so many awesome memories from December still floating around my head.
the blue one had a variety of candy, the hubs loved it and I will get it for him again next year.
The red and white one was mine, Walkers Shortbread Cookies.
It was fun,
I liked the design and the pictures but I would not get it again.
I love shortbread cookies but these were terrible...very dry, with no flavor.
Next year, I will pick something else.
We saw this car several times and I was able to speak with the driver while we were both getting gas.
Such a nice, young, happy guy...he had on his pj's and a santa hat.
He waited so I could take this picture.
He waited so I could take this picture.
Santa came to the neighborhood on his fire truck to visit the kiddos.
He always visited us on Christmas Eve when my boys were little and seeing the truck
brought back some really happy memories.
I purchased three of these "Merry Builders Blocks", one for each of us to keep us busy
Christmas Eve Morning.
I had the "Snowman" and even with Mike's help, I was not able to put this together.
The hubs had an "Elf" and is always the prankster...
Mike had "Santa", he finished first.
Here is "Santa" and the "Elf"
humor me for a minute as I provide a little background about these.
They looked like legos, the pieces were so small you really did need a magnifying glass to see them,
the box said they were easy to build...it took the boys close to 3 hours each for them to finish theirs.
You be the judge.
I have not been to the alpaca farm, Arrow Acres Farm, the farm I usually visit to see the alpaca.
I have however been able to see them on YouTube.
Liz and Leanne have a vlog...@cocktailhouratthecoop5454.
They talk about their lives, knitting, crocheting, family and life on the farm.
Beautiful christmas photos. I wish you a happy and healthy 2026
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely Christmas! I hope 2026 is a great year for you and your family, Debbie.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! 🎉🥳
ReplyDeleteI love all your December photos! But then I have loved every single photo you have EVER posted! I feel like I am right THERE seeing what YOU are seeing! You have a gift for taking these and then we get to experience each one!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, where did you get your chocolate advent calendar?
ReplyDeletei got it on amazon from a small business which i liked. Evas Gift Universe...Assorted Chocolate Advent Calendar (Countdown to Christmas Calendar), Selection of 24 Delightful Chocolates, Christmas Gift Idea for Men, Women, Friends, Family, it was filled with very good, name brand chocolates!!
DeleteBeautiful sunsets! I've never seen itty bitty teeny tiny "legos" like those. My grown son is a lego freak; he complains about his fingertips hurting when he completes a big set. Where did you get the little ones? Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeletei ordered these online, i think i was on instagram. 6 for about $ 40.00, i think. i ordered these during the end of october with the thought i would wrap them and we would each open one on christmas eve. it took forever to get them and when they came, each of the boxes were crushed. for 6 weeks i kept contacting them, asking just for new boxes. they answered every email but i never got new boxes. i don't think i would recommend them...they were so hard to put together, they had directions but they were so small they were hard to read!!
DeleteBeautiful photos, I love alpacas. The sky images are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas blocks are cute. I wish you and yours all the best in 2026, a happy and healthy New Year!

I'm stopping by to wish you a fabulous New Year, Debbie. I've been crazy busy getting ready for our daughter and family to arrive from Chicago tomorrow. Your red sky photos are incredible.
ReplyDeleteThose tiny building sets should have come with tweezers and magnifying glasses included😏Did yours ever get completed, Debbie? Wishing you and the hubs a 2026 of new adventures. NYC is colorful at Christmas but very crowded.
ReplyDeleteWell nice one of you liked your calendars, I am surprised i think Walkers is a very big brand name, or maybe that is just how they make theirs. Wow I can't imagine the work to get all those bulbs on that car and keep them on. Love when those good memories coming flooding back. They use to do that on base when we lived at McGuire there in New Jersey too.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh about the building blocks, Greg got some too, can't remember the characters he got but he hasn't tried putting them together yet. Gorgeous sunsets you had.
You did have a wonderful December, Debbie -- and I love how beautifully you have documented it! Every photo is a gem, a real capture of the joy you experienced this month. Now onward! Wishing you a very Happy New Year!
