Yes, we also have a predator - a sharp-shin hawk, who regularly comes around looking for a meal. I shoo them away the minute I see them, but I guess I need to zoom in with the camera on one and see if I can figure out just what they are! I know we have Grackles in the spring and summer, but these have a shorter tail. Grackles are pesky, too!
