Sights In Sand...An American Road Trip

All summer long,
has the following sand sculptures on display, village wide.
Free for all to see, the display celebrates the natural wonders, national landmarks and history
celebrating our nation's 250 years.
Each sand sculpture requires approximately 150 man hours and 50 tons of sand to build
Once completed, the sculptures are sprayed with a mixture of wood glue and water.
The sculptures are on display now through August 31st.
If you are interested and want additional information, you can read more about the display here.

  1. Wow Debbie these are all amazing sand sculptures and even more so considering that Peddlers Village isn’t near the ocean🙂. That first sculpture of the loaded station wagon was my favorite. I’m disappointed we’re not visiting family in PA this month as these would have been on our “to see” list.

  2. That always amazes me that they are made of sand. There was a huge competition at our ocean recently for sand sculptures. I did not get there to see it but saw the pictures.
