The sky is vast, endless...and forever changing.
I have always been fascinated about the mystery of the sky.
The Sun, the Moon, the Planets, Shooting Stars, and the Constellations.
I am drawn to Natural Phenomenons like Rain, Clouds, Snow, Meteor Showers, Shooting Stars,
Rainbows, Auroras and Asteroids,
Not to mention Hurricanes and Tornadoes and a "good storm".
Whenever "the people" announce a Phenomenon is coming, I write down all details, and if
I don't fall asleep, I get to see it.
apparently it could be seen on the 10th and the 11th.
Much to my surprise the moon was pink.
The Strawberry moon is rare, we have not seen one since 2006.
is a nickname that has been given to the first full moon in June.
I hope you got to see it, it was magical.
We saw a harvest Moon once...it was soooo yellow/orange
I have every color you could ever imagine, coming from the endless summer,
They are doing well...now the watering begins.
Hello Debbie,
ReplyDeleteYour moon photos are gorgeous.
I do love your hydrangea blooms.
Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend.
Don't you love the name "strawberry moon." So evocative. Lovely photo!
ReplyDeleteWe did see It on June 10 coming home from the airport. My husband mentioned how beautiful the moon looked on our ride home. For some reason my hydrangea bush ( which had hundreds of blooms las year) is void this year!! Just leaves, no flowers. Yours are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHydrangeas are my favorite flower! And what beautiful colors you have. LOVE the moon photos! WOW! And you missed me? Really? You're a true friend and I missed you too! Hugs, Diane

ReplyDeleteEnjoy every bloom! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, web missed seeing the strawberry moon, so thanks for sharing your great image, Debbie. Your hydrangeas are beautiful especially in such a variety of colors.
ReplyDeleteI did not hear that we were to have a strawberry moon, when I was going to bed that night and closing the blinds I told Greg wow look at that moon it is red, now I wish I would have taken the time to get a picture. I heard later that it wasn't going to come around for like 20 years, I probably won't be around to see it. Your flowers are just gorgwous, love all the colors!
ReplyDeleteWe were aware of the strawberry moon, but cloud cover prevented us from seeing it. Thanks for the pics.
ReplyDeleteLouis Dean and I did see it as we sat out on our driveway! SO beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI swear that's the best hydrangea bouquet I've ever seen and it is one of my favorite of all time flowers. ... I'm glad you share the fantastic strawberry moon... it was too cloudy here this year.
ReplyDeleteYour moon photographs are lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour hydrangea blooms so beautiful.
